What a Body...Victorian Medical & Anatomy Items from Sweetheartsinner

Here at Sweetheartsinner I've frequently taken inspiration from esoteric relics of the past. And what better inspiration than antique medical and anatomical imagery, particularly from the Victorian era? Antique images of skeletons, hearts, the human body. Not to mention "Siamese twins"!

It's hard to describe what attracts me to this imagery. Is it the macabre nature of the works? Is it the now outdated understanding of medicine...the quackery of the time? It's probably a little bit of both. What I do know is that I enjoy sharing what inspires me.

Here are just a few examples of the necklaces, pill boxes, & cigarette/wallet cases we offer that use imagery from that era:

For more items from Sweetheartsinner (including MANY more medical/anatomy items), visit one of our two websites. Use the keywords "medical" and/or "anatomy" to find these great items and more!

These make wonderful gifts and particularly great stocking stuffers this holiday season!

Sweetheartsinner jewelry, pill cases, and cigarette cases and wallets make the perfect gifts! They are great stocking stuffers and are inexpensive as well. So much to choose from in their ebay and etsy stores. I love their thousands of different designs! These victorian designs are so cool. I love the post mortem necklaces. There are some really creepy gifts!
